Equipment Transport Done Right

When you need equipment hauling, the details matter. The wrong trailer, an improperly secured load, or a driver who's guessing on the permit route — any of those turn into problems. Auto House has been hauling heavy equipment in Central Kansas for 40+ years. We know what questions to ask before a move, and we have the equipment to handle most loads without a third-party contractor.

We haul agricultural machinery, construction equipment, industrial machinery, and specialty items. If it has wheels or skids and it needs to move, call us. If it's already off the road or on its side, that's heavy-duty recovery work and we run that too.

Equipment Transport and Machinery Moving

Equipment transport requires proper load securement and an understanding of what happens if something shifts in transit. Our operators know how to assess a load, choose the right tie-down points, and route for height and weight clearances. Machines that aren't loaded correctly get damaged. We've seen what that costs operators.

Machinery transport for industrial clients often involves custom rigging or specialized loading procedures. We've handled equipment that required creative solutions to get onto the trailer safely — that's part of the job.

Oversized Loads and Permit Coordination

Wide loads and oversize moves require permits and sometimes escorts. We handle rigging and hauling for oversized loads and can coordinate the necessary permits for your route. We work with the dimensions and weight of your equipment to determine what's required before the truck rolls.

If you're not sure whether your load requires a permit, call us with the dimensions, and we'll walk you through it. It's better to know before you're on the highway.

Long-Distance Equipment Hauling

Our equipment hauling isn't limited to Kansas. We've moved equipment coast to coast — if your machinery needs to get somewhere, we'll get it there. Long-distance hauls are planned with the same attention to load securement and routing as local moves. The distance is longer; the standards don't change.

Fleet and commercial clients can discuss ongoing hauling arrangements for regular equipment moves. We regularly work with several agricultural and construction operations.

How an Equipment Haul Works

Tell Us What You're Moving

Call with the equipment type, dimensions, weight, pickup location, and destination. The more detail, the better. We'll confirm trailer type, permit requirements, and any special handling needs before quoting.

We Quote and Plan the Move

We put together a rate and a move plan for no surprises on delivery day. If something about the equipment or routing is unusual, we work it out before dispatch, not on the side of the road.

Loading and Securing

Our operator arrives at the pickup with the right trailer. Equipment is loaded using proper tie-down points and rigging. We don't leave until the load is secure and safe to move.

Delivered to the Destination

We transport to the destination, confirm unloading conditions, and document the delivery. Clients who need proof of delivery or chain-of-custody documentation can request it.

Why Auto House?

Reliability

When your truck is down, you don't need excuses. You need someone who answers the phone and shows up. That's what we provide on every call.

One Call. Complete Solution.

Towing, recovery, roadside, repair; we handle the whole situation. No handoffs, no ringing up separate vendors while your problem sits around.

Trust & Transparency

We tell you what's happening and what it'll take to fix it. No surprises on the invoice.

"I had an excellent experience with Auto House Inc Towing & Recovery. While I was traveling with a load through McPherson, Kansas, my truck broke down unexpectedly. I called them after finding their company on Google, and from the very beginning, their service was outstanding. They arrived even faster than the estimated time, handled my truck professionally, and safely transported it to a repair shop. What really stood out was the level of care they provided beyond just towing — they took the time to drive me to a hotel and made sure I could choose where I wanted to stay."
